Paysage Miró: an artistic and residential tour of Palma

The city of Palma pays tribute to Joan Miró with a simultaneous exhibition that brings together more than 100 works by the artist in four emblematic spaces in the city. It represents a unique opportunity to enjoy paintings, sculptures and documents that interact with the Mallorcan environment that had such a profound impact on the painter's life.

Joan Miró was born in Barcelona but had a very close connection with Mallorca, where he lived from the mid-1950s until his death in 1983. Paysage Miró presents four different approaches to the artist's work:

1 ) La Guspira Mágica

Miró Foundation - Cala Major | 1 August 2025 - 11 January 2026

The main exhibition is being held at the Miró Foundation, located in Cala Major, where the artist set up his studio. 2 ) The Initial Force

La Llotja - Old Town | From 31 July 2025 to February 2026

This Gothic building houses ten monumental bronze pieces created by the multifaceted artist between the 1940s and 1970s, which convey Miró's initial energy. 3 ) Colour and its shadow

Casal Solleric - Paseo de Borne | From 2 August to 9 November 2025

This exhibition explores the chromatic power of Miró, a dialogue between painting and sculpture. Casal Solleric is located on Paseo del Borne, known as Palma's ‘salon’, where you will also find exclusive, modern residences, perfect for those who want to combine culture and luxury shopping in the city centre.

Admission to this exhibition is free.

4 ) Painting among things

Es Baluard | From 2 August to 9 November 2025

This is the last part of the exhibition dedicated to Miró's legacy and invites visitors to look at his works from a different perspective. Es Baluard, located next to the Santa Catalina neighbourhood, is a vibrant, modern area that is highly sought after by international buyers looking for charming flats and a dynamic urban lifestyle.
