La Nit de l’Art 2026 returns on Saturday, 19 September, from 18:00 to 23:00, to open Mallorca’s new art season. This year’s event marks its 30th anniversary and will once again bring contemporary art to Palma and other locations across the island.

About La Nit de l’Art

Held annually since 1997, La Nit de l’Art has become the landmark event that opens Mallorca’s exhibition season. Its 30th anniversary reaffirms Art Palma Contemporani’s commitment to new artistic languages and to making contemporary art accessible to a wider public.

Highlights of the 2026 edition

La Nit de l’Art presents a renewed visual identity for its anniversary, created by Mallorca-based studios HONDO and HASTALASTANTAS. Another significant development is the addition of a66Gallery, bringing the association’s membership to 16 galleries.

• 6a Taller i Galeria: combines contemporary art with lithography and traditional printmaking.
• ABA ART: develops curatorial, production and site-specific art projects.
• Balazsi Gallery: formerly Tube Gallery, connects emerging and international artists with the local community.
• BARÓ: creates a dialogue between the European and Latin American art scenes.
• Florit / Florit: operates as a laboratory for ideas at the intersection of art, technology and contemporary culture.
• Galería Fermay: occupies a former industrial space and works with emerging and established artists.
• Galeria Reus: supports research, production and new perspectives in contemporary art.
• KEWENIG: presents contemporary art inside a 13th-century medieval chapel.

• Galería Pelaires: founded in 1969, occupies a historic 17th-century building in central Palma.

• CCA Andratx: a 4,000 m² cultural centre combining art, nature and an international residency programme.

• a66Gallery: the association’s newest member, located in a traditional townhouse in historic Santanyí.
• Hauser & Wirth Menorca: presents exhibitions and educational activities on Illa del Rei in Mahón harbour.

• Sant Francesc Hotel: will present “Los sueños del agua”, an installation by Alejandro Corujeira created with Galería Fermay.
• Nivia Born Boutique Hotel: will be one of the main venues in the collaboration between Nivia Hotel Collection and Art Palma Contemporani.
• ADEMA Escuela Universitaria: will present “Confluencias”, a group exhibition by fourth-year Fine Arts students.
• iGallery and KANT Palma: join the circuit as new collaborating spaces in 2026.

Other participating venues include Espai Cor, Casal Solleric, Can Balaguer, CaixaForum Palma, Es Baluard, Fundación Juan March, Museu de Pollença, Fundació Miró Mallorca, ICAIB, COSTER Art i Natura, La Llotja and La Misericòrdia.

A growing cultural platform

La Nit de l’Art is organised by Art Palma Contemporani, the association of contemporary art galleries in the Balearic Islands. Founded in 2004, it works to strengthen the islands’ cultural life and bring new artistic languages and creators closer to the public.
