Experience the International Music Day with our real estate agency in Pollensa

The summer solstice is one of the most special days for towns across the whole of the Mediterranean. Every year on the 21^st of June we welcome the arrival of summer and look forward to the celebrations of the night of Sant Joan, on the 23rd of June, which for decades countries such as France, Italy and Germany have celebrated with music. This important date also coincides with the celebration of International Music Day. This event, which is celebrated across the globe, will see the participation of the town which is home to our real estate agency in Pollensa and offers an eclectic programme of various genres brought to you by a range of local artists.

Music for all tastes in the streets of Pollensa

The squares and streets of Pollensa will start to enjoy a musical atmosphere from 7pm onwards on the 20^th and 21^st of June 2026. The objective of this celebration is to offer the people of Pollensa the widest variety possible of different musical styles in a free event where new and up and coming acts can also have an opportunity to perform. By doing it in this manner, people don’t have to attend concert venues, the music comes to the people and they can enjoy it in the open air.

The programme for the 9th edition of DIM Pollença includes music for all audiences in Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa, with children’s music, popular dancing, jazz, local bands and evening concerts in the open air.

On Saturday 20^th June, the programme includes Música Infantil Music Mec in Plaça Vella, Horabaixa!! in aid of PRODIS in the Joan March Gardens, and a Ballada Popular by Racó de Tramuntana in Plaça Miquel Capllonch in Puerto Pollensa.

On Sunday 21^st June, the Joan March Gardens will host Microbert from 11.00 in the morning, with Gergo, Natan and Kelpie. From 7pm onwards, groups such as Sweet Duo, Ameyal Duo, Tramuntana Gipsy, Paula & Mathis, Sol & PepToni, DIM Kids, Lolo, Taroco, Miquel Pepe, Almirón Trio and Gotmar Jazz Trio will be playing in Pollensa.

The Plaça Major will also host performances by Ilusos at 21.00, Pep Garau Quintet at 22.00 and The Ripples at 23.00, while the Banda de Música de Pollença will take part with a passacarrers at 19.00. In Puerto Pollensa the programme includes evening performances by Pink Rose and Rano Sarbach Trio.
